SOCCER
Introduction
In the next
article I will talk about the sport of soccer, which is the most popular sport
and the one they practice the most in the world, I am one of the lovers of this
beautiful sport and I consider it a great way to exercise, you can play with
our friends, with family and anywhere.
When I was a kid
I played a lot of soccer, it was so much fun for me.
If you don't like
it, don't worry! each person has his characteristic ability.
This sport is
yours, mine, your friends, it can be anyone's, that's why it is so popular and
few don't like it.
History will be
discussed, its definition with its specific rules and the main tournaments they
hold.
Football history
The modern
history of soccer, as it is currently conceived, covers almost 150 years of
existence. It began in 1863, when the paths of "rugby-football" and
"association football" separated in England and the oldest Football
Association in the world was founded: the "Football Association".
In 1848
representatives of different English colleges met at Cambridge University to
create the Cambridge code, which would function as the basis for the creation
of modern football regulations. Finally, in 1863 the first rules of football
were made official in the city of London.
Since then soccer
has had a constant growth, until it became the most popular sport in the world
with some 270 million people involved. With the first meeting of the
International Football Association Board held in 1886 and the founding of FIFA
in 1904, the sport has expanded to reach every corner of the world. Starting in
1930, the World Cup of Soccer would begin, which would become the sporting
event with the largest audience in the world.
Definition of football
Important tournaments
Most cities have a local soccer team, and the people support
their city is team. There are also national teams.
Every four years, national teams compete for the world cup,
during this time, everyone supports their country is team. Some naticions are
very good, i like, Brazil, Colombia, France, and spain.
Most countries have a domestic soccer league whith local
teams.
Some famous soccer leagues include the Bundesliga in
germany, the english premier league, the liga in spain, and serie A in italy. These
leagues have some very good teams.
Some of the best teams in the world include real Madrid, Barcelona,
Liverpool, Bayern munich and Juventus.
There is also the
champion’s league, these are the most interesting matches and the ones I like
the most, nowhere do they stop watching these matches.
Every year in the champion´s league, the best teams in the world play against each other.
But once in a
while, I like watching soccer.
